WHAT IS A SWPPP?

A SWPPP is a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan; these plans are required by law for any construction site that meet the state regulated disturbance acreage(s). These plans require permits to be filed with designed runoff treatment units during all phases of construction. The purpose of these plans are to limit the erosion on-site and prevent pollution from the construction site to enter the watershed via runoff.
